The Typewriter is an independent, non-profit online poetry journal. We accept submissions from poets based in New Zealand, Australia and the wider Asia-Pacific region who are emerging to mid-career writers. We hope to be an inclusive and encouraging online poetry journal. We publish a wide array of poetic styles – for a flavour of what we like to include, take a moment to peruse our previous volumes (currently i-iv).
